കുട്ടികളുടേയും ഒരു സർപ്പത്തിൻറെയും കുറെ സാഹസികതയുടേയും കഥ.
അന്ന് ആ കഥ ഒരു ഹരമായിരുന്നു. അന്നറിയില്ലിയിരുന്നു ആരാണ് അത് എഴുതിയതെന്ന്.
വളരെ പിന്നീടറിഞ്ഞു കെ സരള എന്ന തൂലികാനാമത്തിൽ ആ കഥ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത് നമ്മുടെ സ്വന്തം എം ടി ആണെന്ന്.

I remember that the first book I read was sixty five years ago
A Malayalam work "Maanikyakallu"
A book for children with a snake and some children as characters ..with some adventure unique for children.
Then that story was highly exciting
I did not know who authored that .
But years later I learnt that the story was written under the pseudonym k sarala by our own M T (m t Vasudevan nair)
