मन्वत्रिविष्णुहारीतयज्ञवल्क्योशनोङ्गिरः।
यमापस्तम्बसम्वर्ताः कात्यायनबृहस्पती॥४
पराशरव्यासश्ङ्खलिखिता दक्षगौतमौ।
शतातपो वसिष्ठश्च धर्मशास्त्रप्रयोजकाः॥५
याज्ञवल्क्यस्मृतौ आचाराध्याये॥
manvatriviṣṇuhārītayajñavalkyośanoṅgiraḥ|
yamāpastambasamvartāḥ kātyāyanabṛhaspatī||4
parāśaravyāsaśṅkhalikhitā dakṣagautamau|
śatātapo vasiṣṭhaśca dharmaśāstraprayojakāḥ||5
yājñavalkyasmṛtau ācārādhyāye||

Note 1Manu is considered the pioneer followed by others.
Note 2 The names Vishnu, Yama, do not represent the deities of Vedic names. Regarding other names we really are not sure they are the Puranic characters of same name..
Note 3.The Law treatises of Yajnavalkya and Paraashara have played a major role in the evolution of modern codified Hindu Law in India.
