सत्यं ब्रूयात् प्रियं ब्रूयात् न ब्रुयात् सत्यमप्रियम्।
प्रियं च नानृतं ब्रूयादेष धर्मः सनातनः॥

Tell truths which are sweet for others to hear.
If the truth is not sweet that should not be told
A lie should not be told just because it is sweet
This is the dharma.. the practical one
As per Manu
Of course no one is going to tell something
which is a lie and it is not true too.. if the one who tell is not crazy..
But then we find too many crazy fellows around..
